Powder coating for 5G communication equipment

However, the recommended construction temperature of common thermosetting powder coatings is usually (180~210)℃ ×(10~20)min. Compared wITh liquid coatings, it has the disadvantages of high baking temperature and long baking time, which will inevitably lead to higher energy consumption. Moreover, high temperature curing also limits the popularization and application of powder coatings in new fields such as heat-sensitive substrates, such as MDF, plastics, electronic components and IT communication equipment. Therefore, it is of great practical significance for the industry to jointly promote the research and development of low-temperature curing powder coatings.

 

 

Powder coating manufacturers will meet the special requirements put forward by equipment communicators. For example, when the baking temperature exceeds 130℃, sensitive electrical components and fillers in communication equipment will be damaged. Therefore, the curing temperature must be lower than 130℃.

 

In addition, ultra-low temperature cured powder coatings have high reactivity and low glass transition temperature, which also put forward higher requirements for the production, storage stability and construction stability of powder coatings.

 

Based on this background, AABchemical Company commissioned partners to develop a special ultra-low temperature curing weather-resistant powder coating product for 5G communication equipment. The outdoor powder coating product has excellent delayed adhesion, impact resistance, storage stability and construction performance, and the weather resistance of the prepared powder coating product reaches Hg/T 2006-2006 outdoor excellent product standard.
