The price of ethylenediamine, the main raw material of HAA, is stable at present. With the preparation of RMB, the export price will decrease steadily in the next 1-2 months, so it can be purchased on demand.

This is mainly related to the insufficient supply of isobutyraldehyde, the upstream raw material of polyester resin. In fact, because isobutyraldehyde is only a by-product in the production of butyl octanol, the main domestic chemical enterprises are basically in a situation of oversupply of butyl octanol, so the expansion of isobutyraldehyde production is restricted, and it is difficult for isobutyraldehyde to expand directly like TGIC. Therefore, the supply of isobutyraldehyde has been very tight in recent years, and the situation is difficult to solve in a short time. It will be bullish for some time to come. 

• Epoxy Resin Price Trend

Bisphenol A, the main raw material of epoxy resin, rose slightly this week, and epichlorohydrin rose rapidly by 6% this week after the raw material propylene/glycerin stopped falling and rebounded. As the upstream raw material cost support and downstream demand began to increase, resin manufacturers have strong price expectations. However, considering that the demand side has not improved, there is relatively limited room for the price increase at present. The quotation of solid epoxy resin E12 is about FOB $3,135 ~ $3,200/ton; The quoted price of liquid epoxy resin E51 is about $3650-$3700/ton.
