How to judge the quality of TGIC curing agent?

Nowadays, there are many suppliers of TGIC curing agent in the market who claim that TGIC is of high quality, but what is the good quality TGIC?

First, let's understand the production process of TGIC. We know that the main raw materials of TGIC include epichlorohydrin ECH and isocyanuric acid. The specific process is as follows: firstly, ECH (epichlorohydrin) and CA (isocyanuric acid) are added into a reactor according to a certain proportion, and a synthetic product 1,3,5-triisocyanurate is obtained by a synthetic reaction under the action of an esterification catalyst, and the synthetic product reacts with NaOH to obtain a cyclized TGIC crude solution, then the TGIC crude solution is filtered to remove residues, and then the filtered cyclized mother solution is washed, distilled, crystallized, separated, dried and the like.

According to the feedback from the end market, downstream customers generally pay more attention to the completeness of curing reaction, impurity content and skin allergy. As a factory, in order to meet the needs of customers, we carry out quality control from the following six aspects to provide TGIC with reasonable performance, safety and stability for the market.

1. Appearance. At present, TGIC on the market mainly has cylindrical, granular and hemispherical shapes. The factory represented by NT is mainly cylindrical. Cylindrical processing technology is simple and convenient, and it is easy to be fully mixed with other raw materials in the extrusion and melting stage, but it is easy to produce powder itself, and it is easy to contact with workers' skin and respiratory tract in the production process, causing allergies. Represented by Nissan's granular materials, TGIC particles are compact, not easy to produce powder, and relatively less allergic. Semi-spherical TGIC is represented by Klarint's products, and adopts melt granulation technology. The whole TGIC shape is compact and have no edges and corners, which minimizes the generation of dust and greatly reduces the occurrence of allergic cases.
